Author-4-Author Blog Hop Steps

Happy Sunday to you and yours. Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully, my steps won't confuse you too much. Members of the Author-4-Author Group is organizing a monthly blog hop to showcase the work of our multi-genre authors. The hop is open to both published and unpublished members of the group. Not a member yet but would like to join? Find us here: Author-4-Author or here Author4Author Blog.
Our first blog hop will happen on Monday, July 20th. The theme will be opening lines. If you DON'T have a blog to link via the linky tool list, please submit your information to author4author@gmail.com and we'll post it directly on the Author-4-Author blog.

STEP TWO: Click below to enter your information. The name you want to appear in the list, your blog address, etc.

STEP ONE: at the bottom of the author-4-author post on the home page, click to enter link
STEP TWO: Click below to enter your information. The name you want to appear in the list, your blog address, etc.
STEP THREE: Once you enter your information, get the code to include in your blog post. Although the first box is for blogger, I always have to use the code from the second box. If you aren't ready to do your post, paste the code in a document to refer to it later.
STEP FOUR: I always add the code on the html screen. When I do it on the compose screen, the code appears and not the link.
STEP FIVE: Include in your post whatever else you'd like besides the cover, blurb, theme content, and linky tools list. I've already scheduled my post. Schedule, then publish. I have the arrow leading to labels because I'm still unsure what hashtags to include there.
STEP SIX: For anyone who has to learn how to schedule. (Like me, lol. If not for Claire, I'd be lost).
STEP SEVEN: The linky tool that will connect our blogs on July 20th.
